Classic rockers such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hank Williams Jr., Deep Purple, Alice Cooper, Edgar Winter Band, Stephen Stills and the Flamin’ Groovies will all be in town, as will new(er) rock bands like Bouncing Souls and Pepper. Whether you like swing or Latin, you can dance the night away at shows from Squirrel Nut Zippers and Marc Anthony. For fans of soul and hip-hop, the Afropunk Festival will be taking over Brooklyn all weekend long.
