Five Rock Artists Putting Out New Music This Fall

Prepare yourselves for new music with these artists’ classics at Vinyl Bay 777

There is a lot of highly anticipated new music coming out this fall, particularly from well-established artists. From punk and metal to progressive and folk, there is a lot to be excited over.

Here are five rockers putting out new music this fall that we just can’t wait to hear:

1.       1. Kansas: Didn’t think Kansas was still around?  Think again! The band, best known for “Carry On Our Wayward Son,” has been touring consistently for the last 40 years and now they will be releasing their first new album in nearly 16 years. ‘The Prelude Implicit’ comes out on September 23 and you can hear the first track, “With This Heart,” right now. Kansas will also be touring for the 40 anniversary of their groundbreaking debut, ‘Leftoverture,’ which stops at The Paramount on November 19.

2.       Metallica: Metallica will be releasing ‘Hardwired…to Self-Destruct’ on November 18, making this their first new album in eight years (if you don’t count their collaboration with Lou Reed). The band has already released a video for the album’s first single, “Hardwired,” and a trailer for the album containing a snippet from another song, “Moth into Flame.”

3.       Green Day: It’s been four years since the celebrated 90s pop-punk band released their ‘Uno,’ ‘Dos,’ ‘Tre’ trilogy of albums and went on hiatus. Now Green Day is back and gearing up to release ‘Revolution Radio’ on October 7. You can hear the album’s first single, “Bang Bang,” right now. Plan to hear a lot more from the band leading up to the album’s release.

4.       Bon Jovi: Another band who has been consistently putting out music, Bon Jovi will be releasing their 14th album, ‘This House is Not for Sale’ on October 21. You can hear the title track right now.

5.       Van Morrison: Best known for songs like “Brown Eyed Girl” and “Moondance,” prolific rock musician Van Morrison will be releasing his 36th studio album, ‘Keep Me Singing,’ on September 30. The album is filled with new original tracks, collaboration with Don Black and a cover of blues standard “Share Your Love with Me.” Hear the first track from the album, “Too Late,” right now.
